Gerald "Jerry" A. Haas

Jerry A. Haas of Waukesha passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at the age of 69 years. He was born in Milwaukee, WI the son of Harvey and Julia Haas. Jerry married the love of his life, Penelope "Penny" Schilz on November 4, 1967. He worked at Northwestern Mutual for over 35 years, retiring in 2004 to enjoy his favorite sport, golf. Most of all Jerry was a great family man; he loved spending time with his family. Jerry was loved by all who knew him and he would help those in need anyway he could. Jerry will be sadly missed by his wife of 46 years, Penny; his sons, John (Deborah) Haas, Jeff (Jenni) Haas and Joe (Tiffany) Haas; his grandchildren, Ryan, Kyle, Aaron, Carter, Nicole, William, Marissa, Nicholas and Caitlin. He is further survived by his brothers, Richard (Mary), Carl (Charlotte), Ron (Martha), David (Vicky), Greg (Lynne) and Ralph (the late Esther) Haas; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents. The visitation for Jerry will be held from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the 5:00 p.m. Memorial Mass on Monday, January 20, 2014 at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI 53188. The Rev. Curt Frederick will be officiating. The burial will take place privately at a later date.
