Shirley S. Osmanski of Waukesha, died on Sunday, July 14, 2013, at Seasons Hospice at the age of 83 years. Shirley was born in Milwaukee the daughter of Joseph and Selma (Bingenheimer) Olewinski. She enjoyed baking and decorating cakes and her specialty was creating themed cakes and cupcakes. She also enjoyed spending time at the cabin in Crivitz, Wisconsin where she visited with her good friend Emma Schramm, but most of all Shirley enjoyed being with her family especially her grandchildren. Shirley is survived by her daughter, Dori (James) Bischmann; grandchildren, Alyssa and Alex Bischmann; sister-in-law, Lucille Olewinski and a brother-in-law, Ted Artel. Shirley is further survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Jack Schwarzenbacher and her second husband, James Osmanski and by five sisters and one brother. The visitation for Shirley will be held from 10:00AM until the time of the 11:30AM funeral service on Saturday, July 20, 2013, at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188. Rev. Pete Peterson will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials in honor of Shirley may be given to Bichon and Little Buddies Rescue, 828 Perkins Drive, Mukwonago, WI, 53149. The family of Shirley would like to thank her longtime caregivers, Theresa Daley and Monica Bealhen as well as the staff at Seasons Hospice and Golden Gate Restaurant.
