Ursula M. Woodie
July 16th, 1926 - June 2nd, 2013
Ursula Woodie, of Waukesha, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2013, at that age of 86 years. She was born in Enfield, England on July 16, 1926, daughter of John and Edith (nee Hunt) Griggs. Ursula proudly served in English Army during WWII. She married the love of her life, Clifford, on January 29, 1949. Ursula enjoyed traveling and knitting. She was a constant volunteer, both as a pollster for voters and a helper for St. Joseph Catholic School. Ursula's greatest joy, however, was spending time with her family and friends. Ursula will be dearly missed by her husband, Clifford Woodie; children, Paul (Christine) Woodie, Sharon (Roger) Wundrow, Teresa (Marco) Caporali, Gail Fewtrell, and Marie (Walter) Furrer; grandchildren, Amy, David, Michelle (Craig), John (Dawn), Anthony (Kim), Kathleen, Andrea (Austin), Brenna, Megan, Shannon (Dave), Lisa (Ryan), Brandon, Jessica and Briana; great-grandchildren, Shaun, Amanda, John, T.J., Alexa, Joshua, Jason, Justin, Zander, Adriana, Elaina, Andrew "A.J.", Ashley, Tyler, Jazmine, Kai, Travis, Mercedes, Marissa, Madelyn, Alexis and Brayden. She is further survived by other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Margaret. A celebration of Ursula's life will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the 11:00 AM Memorial Service on Saturday, June 8, 2013, at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the family to be used for a charity of their choice at a later date. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of those at ManorCare, especially Lisa Ramos (Ursula's granddaughter), who provided outstanding care, comfort and support to Ursula and her family.
