Dennis Lynn Nott Of Waukesha, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 2, 2012. Dennis was born December 18, 1947, in Manhattan, Kansas to William and Constance Nott. Beloved husband of 41 years to Mary Jo (Dwyer). Proud father of Dan (Rebecca), Sarah (Jonathan) Morris and Tim. Loving grandpa to Sean and Leah Nott and Hannah and Emily Morris. Devoted brother to Deborah (Henry) Kraft. Uncle Dennis to John (Heidi) Savoy, Chad (Stephanie) Savoy and great nieces and nephew, Cicily, Caitlin and Christopher Savoy. He enjoyed a successful, 43-year career with the U.S. Postal Service. Starting in 1966 as a letter carrier, he rose to executive positions including Postmaster of Milwaukee and Operations Director for the Southeast Area. Dennis was an avid golfer with a passion for motorcycles, the Green Bay Packers, his children, grandchildren and dog Dudley. Dennis' quiet presence, strength and integrity endeared him to the entire clan of Dwyer in-laws, his postal family, friends and other relatives. He will be greatly missed. A visitation for Dennis will take place from 1PM until the 3PM Memorial Mass on Saturday, July 7, at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd, Waukesha, WI 53188. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name can be made to the March of Dimes, 5225 N. Ironwood Rd., Ste. 200, Milwaukee, WI 53217 or to NORD, 55 Kenosia Ave., Danbury, CT 06813.
