September 15th, 1923 - December 5th, 2011
Douglas M. "Doug" Behrens Of Waukesha, died after a short illness on Monday, December 5, 2011 at the age of 88 years. Doug was born in Greenwood, Wisconsin on September 15, 1923, a son of Frederick and Helen Behrens. He worked as an inspector for Wisconsin Centrifugal until his retirement in 1985. Doug was an avid Packer and Brewer fan. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. Doug proudly served his country in the United States Army. Doug will be dearly missed by his children, Roxy (Bill) Jaeger, Sue St. Claire, Marcia (Doug) Ensinger, Charlene Barrera, Barbara Sprang, Gail (Marc) Razer, Brenda (Rex) Aldrich, Jeff (Danell) Behrens and Julie (Joe) Luera; 15 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Tom Behrens. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley. A visitation for Doug will be from 10:00 AM until the 11:30 AM funeral service on Friday, December 9, 2011 at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188. Burial with military honors will immediately follow the service at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Brookfield.
