Lucille "Lu" Yates
June 5th, 1929 - October 24th, 2011
Lucille "Lu" Yates Of Waukesha, passed away, Monday, October 24, 2011, lovingly surrounded by family at her home, at the age of 82 years. She was born on June 5, 1929, in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Arthur and Alice Jenss. Lu was very artistic, enjoying ceramics, lapidary, painting, and collectables; especially her snowmen, and crafts in general. She spent lots of time with friends, her kindergarten girls' group and USO girls. Lu also was an avid bird watcher. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. Lu will be sadly missed by her children, Lynn (Patrick) Barney of Brookfield, Debra Izu of Waukesha, Sandra Yates of Waukesha, and Darin (Jacque)Yates of Alabama; Grandchildren, Brian Klewin, Sarah (Preston) Nobile, Tawnya Yates, Shawn Yates, Melissa Izu, Kyle Izu and Nicholas Izu; great-grandson, Brayden Nobile and brother, Robert (Donna) Jenss of Random Lake. She is further survived by her cat, Angel Boy, other relatives and many friends. Lu is preceded in death by her parents, husband, John, and granddaughter, Jennifer Brammer. The visitation for Lu will be held from 10:30 a.m. until the 12:30 p.m. funeral service on Friday, October 28, 2011 at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188. Private burial will take place at Pinelawn Cemetery. A special thanks to the caring individuals at ProHealth Hospice. In lieu of flowers memorials in Lu's name appreciated to ProHealth Care Home Hospice, 1020 James Dr. Suite E., Hartland, WI 53029 or AngelsGrace Hospice Volunteers, W359N7430 Brown St., Oconomowoc, WI 53066.
