Michael "Mike" Miokovich
April 16th, 1937 - August 25th, 2011
Michael L. "Mike" Miokovich Passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 25, 2011, at Virginia Health and Rehabilitation Center, at the age of 74. Mike was born on April 16, 1937 in West Allis, WI, to Stephen and Lenore Miokovich. Mike worked in the sheet metal industry for many years, retiring from Grunau Company, Sheet Metal Workers Union Local No. 18. He enjoyed golfing and bowling, playing horseshoes and cheering on the Packers. Mike enjoyed giving his grandchildren rides on his prized Bolens tractor. What was most important to him was spending time with his family. Michael will be missed by his wife, Junice; children, Gwenel "Wendy" (Jeff) Burns of Dousman, Kraig Knippschild of Cary, IL, Kevin Knippschild of Elgin, IL, Michael (Carol) Majeskie of Brookfield, Michele (Larry) Warner of Mukwonago, and Llynelle "Llyn" (Chris) Moon of Dousman; grandchildren Nicole, Jared, Kelsey, Courtney (Jared), Alexandra, Kaylan, Thomas, Travis, Mark, Jessica (Mike), Cody, Brandon, Logan, Leah, Ryan, Michael, and Katie; great grandchildren, Dylan , Cameron and Brenden; brother, James (Sharon) Miokovich of Milwaukee; sister-in-laws, Grace Yates of MN and Barbara Ennesser of TX; nieces, nephews, other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stephen and Lenore. The visitation for Mike will be from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service on Tuesday, August, 30, 2011 at Evangelical & Reformed United Church of Christ, 413 Wisconsin Ave. Waukesha, WI. Burial to follow, at Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the church (see address above) or the American Parkinson's Disease Association, P.O. Box 7513, Madison, WI 53707.
