J. Gail Adler Of Waukesha, died on June 29, 2011, in Evanston, IL, lovingly surrounded by her family, at the age of 76 years. Gail was born on May 21, 1935 in Carroll, Iowa to Alvin and Muriel Blaschke (nee O'Brien) Gail was a Social Worker for Waukesha County for over 30 years. She enjoyed traveling and musicals. Gail stayed well versed in political news and current events and especially loved reading The New Yorker; we'll all miss the article clippings she loved to share. Gail's greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Gail will be dearly missed by her children, Chris Adler of Milwaukee, WI, and Jane (Peter) Dully of Evanston, IL; grandchildren, Sarah (Jon) Ewald, Adam Adler, Serena Dully, Talisman Dully, and Moxie Dully; siblings, John A. (Ruth) Blaschke of Oklahoma, Robert E. (Patricia) Blaschke of California, Joanne (William "Elza") Adams of Middleton, WI, and Richard L. (Marilyn) Blaschke of Middleton, WI; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Neil, and son, William T. "Bill" Adler. Visitation for Gail will be held from 10:00 AM until the Memorial Mass at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 225 S. Hartwell Ave., Waukesha, WI 53186. Rev. Howard Haase will be officiating. Inurnment will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Waukesha, WI, at a later date. Gail was an extremely generous person; in lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Gail's name to a charity.
