Hilda Hatzinger Of Eau Claire (formerly of Waukesha), passed away on Monday, January 31, 2011 at Oakwood Villa in Altoona, WI at the age of 101 years. She was born on December 18, 1909 in Hales Corners, WI the daughter of Paul and Wilhelmina (Schultz) Schroeder. Hilda grew up in Sussex, moved to Waukesha when she married her husband Lyle and they lived there until she moved to Eau Claire in 2002 to be with her family. While she lived in Waukesha, Hilda was a hairdresser at Helen's Beauty Shop and worked for the Register of Deeds of Waukesha County. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church and a devoted member of the choir for many years. Hilda will be sadly missed by her daughter, Lois Dempsey of Eau Claire; her grandchildren, James Dempsey of Eau Claire, Patricia (Dan) Green of Eleva, WI, Elizabeth (John) Anderson of Augusta, WI and Erin (Steve) Voller of Eau Claire, WI; her great grandchildren, Leah, Jesse, Sarah, Rachel, Megan, Chelsea, Sydney, John and Mitchell; her great great grandchildren, Brynna, Carter, Ann, Evelyn and Payton; her sisters, Mabel Delzer of MT and Anita Seder of Waukesha, WI. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lyle, her sister, Frieda Kissinger and her brother, William Schroeder. The funeral service for Hilda will be held on Monday, February 7, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI 53188. The Rev. Linda Vance will officiate. The visitation will be held on Monday from 12 noon until the time of service at the funeral home. The burial at Prairie Home Cemetery will immediately follow.
