Michael V. Reichert, of Waukesha, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at the age of 11. He was born on February 15, 2004, the son of Bret and Veronica Reichert. Michael was a fun-loving, compassionate, little boy who lit up every room with his smile, hugs, kisses and his overwhelming kindness. He loved to swim and golf. Michael was very clever, loved his sweets and he could always talk his way into "just one more". Michael loved looking at the sky, studying the stars and dreamed of becoming an astronaut. It wasn't uncommon to find rocks in his pockets and backpack on a regular basis; he loved the sea, sand, beaches and everything that was Earth. He had pure genuine love that touched everyone he met. We know you are in heaven but our hearts are broken. You will not be forgotten! Michael will be deeply missed by his parents, Bret and Veronica; twin brother, Zachary; loving sister, Isabella; grandparents, Janis Reichert, Eduardo and Antonia Lopez; aunts, Laura (George), Claudia (James), Julie, Lisa (Tim); uncles, Eduardo (Suzie) and Aaron; best friends, Krishna, Kaden, Xavier and Brandon; cousins, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Michael Reichert. The visitation for Michael will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, 1052 Whiterock Ave. Waukesha, WI. 53186. A second visitation will be held on Friday, June 26, 2015 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church. Burial will immediately follow at Salem Cemetery. Michael's family would like to thank the loving staff and faculty at Waukesha STEM Academy; especially Kari McDonnel. A special thanks to Dawn and Renee for always being there for Michael. He loved you all.
