Constance "Connie" Poppy
July 29th, 1930 - March 20th, 2016
Constance L. "Connie" Poppy, of Waukesha, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Birchrock Corners at the age of 85. Connie was born on July 29, 1930 in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Emmit and Mildred O'Connor. She was united in marriage to Lawrence Poppy. Connie was employed as a clerical worker for the County of Waukesha. Connie will be sadly missed by her children, Betty Paul, Wendy (Patrick) Nelson, Judy (Deane) Wiesner, and Kelly (Rene) Poppy; grandchildren, Chris (Lindsey) Nelson, Mindy (Scott) Brayman, Justin Wiesner, Darin Wiesner, and Jennifer (Dan) Johnston; 5 great-grandchildren, Todd, Kate, Delaney, Matthew and Benjamin; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Larry Poppy and great-grandson, Jack. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 20, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin.
