Jean T. Schulz of Wauwatosa passed away peacefully on Monday, May 16, 2016 at the age of 85 years. She was born in Wausau, WI, the daughter of Emmett and Martha Wall. Jean married the love of her life, Bill Schulz on June 27, 1953. She was an active member of Advent Lutheran Church in Cedarburg, WI. Jean worked at Consolidated Water Power & Paper in Wisconsin Rapids, WI., the Department of Anesthesiology at University of WI., for Lutheran Hospital in Ft. Wayne, IN as a Medical Secretary, and as a Legal Secretary for Kenny & Hayes. She taught Sunday school for 25 years, was on the church council, Kennedy Evangelism Program, and a Girl Scout Leader in the Detroit Area. Jean was a volunteer Auxiliary Key person at Luther Manor for over 25 years. She was a first class gardener of perennials, an avid Library Lead Person; belonging to Biography and Classic readings book clubs, enjoyed traveling, and most of all spending time as a Homemaker and mother of three. Jean will be sadly missed by her husband, Bill of 62 years; children, Stephanie (Timothy) Selisker of Burnsville, MN, Jennifer Schulz of Grand Marais, MN and Thomas William (Debby) Schulz of South Milwaukee, WI; grandchildren, Blaire Selisker, Brooke Selisker, Clayton Gruber-Schulz, Lily Gruber-Schulz and Jon (Teresa) Scarpace; great-grandchildren, Lauren and Mason Scarpace. She is further survived by a brother, Jim (Linda) Wall of AZ, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. A visitation for Jean will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. until the 5:00 p.m. Funeral Service at Advent Lutheran Church, W63 N642 Washington Ave. Cedarburg, WI 53012. Rev. Dr. Janis Kinens will be officiating. Entombment will take place privately at Forest Hill Cemetery, Wisconsin Rapids, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jean's name to Advent Lutheran Church would be appreciated (see address above).
