Richard "Rick" D. Lundy

Rick D. Lundy of Waukesha passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at the age of 71 years. He was born in Waukesha, the son of Wilfred and Margaret (nee Dresdow). Rick graduated from Waukesha High School and proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War (Aug. 1968 - March 1970); he was member of the American Legion Post #8 and the Waukesha Noon Lion's Club. He worked in the Insurance industry for Sentry Insurance in the investments area and bartended at the El Matador Restaurant. Rick would never turn down an invitation to fish and he loved to golf. Rick will be sadly missed by his children, Ryan (Lori) Lundy of Eagle, Reade Lundy of Waukesha, Ross Lundy of Milwaukee and Randy Lundy of Milwaukee; grandchildren, Bailey and Justin; siblings, Jeff (Karen) Lundy of West Bend, Christie Low of Birnamwood, Ron (Jane) Lundy of Waukesha and Don Lundy of Lake Mills. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Rick was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Billy and Jack; brother-in-law Daniel. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 10, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI 53188. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
