Helen M. "Granny H." San Fillippo (nee Hertel) of Milwaukee, went to be with her Savior on Thursday, July 28, 2016 surrounded by her family. She proudly worked at AT&T (Wisconsin Bell) for over 40 years. Helen enjoyed cooking shows, dining out and loved to sew but more than anything loved spending time with her family. Helen will be remembered by her feisty and fun spirit. Helen will be deeply missed by her children, Marie (Ben) Miller, Peter (Patti), Joni, Rita, Sam (Larisa) and James (Jen); her grandchildren, Jeff (Kate), Traci, Jenny (Mike), Lucas (Sarah), Hayley, Sammy, Lillian, Paulina and Jack; one great grandson, Benjamin; her sisters, Laverna and Dorothy; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Peter. The visitation for Helen will be held on Friday, August 5, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at St. Catherine Catholic Church, 5101 W. Center St. Milwaukee, WI 53210. The Memorial Mass will follow at 11:45 a.m. Private burial will immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the American Heart Association, 13100 W. Lisbon Rd. Ste. 700 Brookfield, WI 53005.
