Shirley Kudick, of Waukesha passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Lake Country Health and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 81. Shirley was born on February 22, 1935 in Oconomowoc, the daughter of Walter and Vera Reich. She worked at Waukesha County Project Head Start as Transportation Coordinator from the late 1960's until the mid 1980's. Shirley received an award for safely transporting the children of Waukesha County for over 75,000 miles. Shirley will be missed by her children, Christine (fiancé, Marty Rudawski) Moehrke, Guy (Karen), Scott (Diane), Linda (Rico) LaFuente, Dean, Terry (Lisa), Karen (Todd) Wollenzien, Michael (Michelle), and Lynn (Rob Schlieve) Kudick; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. Shirley was preceded in death by her brother, Melvin Reich; son-in-law, Daniel Moehrke; and granddaughter, Christina Wollenzien. The visitation for Shirley will be held on Sunday, January 8, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI. 53188. The burial will take place privately at Glenview Memorial Garden in Ixonia. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated.
