Of Waukesha was born to Eternal Life on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at the age of 71 years. She was born in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Salvatore and Cecelia Bruno. Toni married the love of her life, Tom Peterson on April 20, 1968. She was a member of St. Anthony on the Lake Catholic Church. Toni enjoyed traveling, swimming and bowling. She had a love for all animals and was a great cook that loved to host parties and celebrate the Christmas Holiday. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. Toni will be sadly missed by her husband, Tom of 49 years; children, Derek Peterson of Waukesha, Kerri Peterson of Waukesha and Bradd Peterson of West Allis; grandchildren, Owen and Theodore; siblings, Joseph (Vicki) Bruno of Oconomowoc, Mary Beth ( Jim) Koehler of Milwaukee, Paul (Jackie) Bruno of White Fish Bay and Charles Bruno of Milwaukee and her little dog Benji. She was preceded in death by her parents. A visitation for Toni will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI 53188. A second visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 24, from 10:00a.m. until the time of the 11:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Anthony on the Lake Catholic Church, W280 N2101 Prospect Ave. (Hwy SS) Pewaukee, WI 53072. Burial will take place immediately following at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, memorials in Toni's name to The Humane Animal Welfare Society "HAWS", 701 Northview Rd, Waukesha, WI 53188 would be appreciated.
