Florence K. Dressler

Florence K. Dressler, of Waukesha, died on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at the age of 93 years. She was born on July 4, 1924 the daughter of Lyle and Florence Battersby. Flora was always artistic, with a special love of textile arts. This led her to start her own business, Flo's Stitchery, which she operated for many years, first in Oconomowoc, and then in Waukesha". Flora was also a Cream City Rug Hooking Guild member. She was an avid reader, fantastic cook, and artist. Flora enjoyed spending her time with friends and family. Flora will be deeply missed by her children, Lyle (Dennis) Drier, Ann (William) Rudolph, and Joan (David) Kaul; four grandchildren, Amber (Michael), Heidi (Ben), Jamie (David) and Joel (Megan); eleven great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her first husband, William Leidersdorf, second husband, Philip Dressler, son, Jimmy Leidersdorf, and parents. The memorial service for Florence will be held at 2:30PM on Sunday, April 22, 2018, at the Avalon, 222 Park Place, Waukesha, WI 53186. In lieu of flowers, memorials to H.A.W.S. 701 Northview Rd, Waukesha, WI 53188 are appreciated.
