Lowell Dean Lund, 83, of Cambridge passed away at his home on Thursday, April 18, 2024. Lowell was born on July 9, 1940 to John and Clarice Lund. He married Sharon Vasby of Cambridge. Lowell was a lifelong farmer. He loved the land and shared his passion and strong work ethic with family, friends and neighbors. Lowell especially enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids. They were the pride of his life. Lowell is survived by his wife Sharon; children Dean (Pamela), Daryll (Kristen), Duane (Vickie) and Serena (Scott); grandchildren Danielle (Matt), Calvin (Renee), Kayla, Dylan (Amanda), Britta (David), Erika (Luke), Tressa (Patrick), Abbie (Dan), Spencer (Kathryn) and Karlie; twelve precious great grandchildren; and sisters Jean, Shirley, Ruth, and Donna. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Elaine and Carol and brothers Richard and Stanley. To remember Lowell, join family and friends at Vasby Farms on Clearview Road from 8 to 10 AM, Saturday, April 27th. There will be a private service. Lowell always said he raised crops to help feed the world. In lieu of flowers, please honor Lowell by donating to your local food pantry.
