Milo Junior Miles
September 15th, 1930 - July 5th, 2018
Milo J. Miles, 87 of Arvada died July 5, 2018. Milo was born in Winterset, Iowa on Sept. 15, 1930 to Milo M. and Mildred (Brown) Miles. After graduating from Patterson Consolidated School in 1948, Milo joined the U.S. Navy in Oct. 1948. When his enlistment was up, Milo joined the U.S. Air Force in Aug. 1957. He retired in 1968. Milo married Judith Ann Christians Feb. 14, 1959 at Chanute AFB, IL. He graduated from Parkland College in Champagin, IL. He went on to work in the data processing field. Milo and Judy loved travelling across the U.S. in their recreational vehicles until her death in 2013. Milo was life member of the American Legion, Post 161 and Elks BPOE both of Arvada. They were members of the Arvada Elks camping group. Milo is survived by his children Deborah (Nicholas) Kelman of Fergus Falls, MN, Michael Miles of Arvada, CO. Grandchildren, Brett (Jodi) Kelman of Mt. Horeb, WI, Brandon Kelman, Bozeman, MT, Austin Miles, of Arvada, CO and Alicyn Miles of Rapid City, SD. Great Grandchildren Liam & Fiona Kelman.
