Peggy Louise Vanderhoff (Age 90) of Mesa, Arizona, died on Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at The Villa Hospice in Mesa AZ. She was born on August 29, 1927 in Nashville, Tennessee to Thomas and Vera (Wheeler) Ramey. Peggy married Edward T. Colbert II in 1947. They had 3 sons and one daughter: Edward Colbert III of Littleton CO, Kenneth Colbert of Edgerton MO, Steven Colbert of Liberty MO, and Diane (Colbert) Ojile of Mesa, Arizona. Edward T. Colbert II passed away in 1988; Peggy married Darold (Pete) Vanderhoff in 1979 in Loveland, CO. Peggy attended the Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, Tennessee. Her occupations were wife/homemaker and Medical Secretary. She previously resided in Rose Hill-Kansas, Seattle-Washington, Littleton and Ft. Collins-Colorado, Garland-Texas, Kansas City-Kansas, Edgerton-Missouri, and Mesa-Arizona. Peggy enjoyed her grandchildren, baking breads, loved cats, was a voracious reader, walked many malls, enjoyed the company of friends, attending church, and everything about living in Ft. Collins, CO. She is survived by sons: Edward (Suzan) Colbert, Kenneth (Marilyn) Colbert, and Steven Colbert; daughter, Diane (Mike) Ojile; six grandchildren: Melissa (Kelly) Collins, Ramey (Paul) Hermsen, Leslie (Darrin) Porch, Jeff Ojile, Colleen (Olivier) Currat, Richard (Crystal) Colbert, as well as 12 great grandchildren. Also special to Peggy was her niece Barbara (Ron) Crooks, Pete†™s daughter, Jane Vanderhoff, and several resident friends at WWB Apartments in Edgerton, MO.
