Deborah Lynn (Collins) Mitchell

Deborah was born December 13, 1957 to the late Howard Collins and Glema Boyd Collins in Floyd County, Kentucky and departed this life on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at her residence.  She was a 1975 graduate of FHS.  She spent her years working for K.S.P, Head Start, The Butterfly House,  most recently Benjamins Flowers and Holiday Inn Express.  Deborah had a huge heart for her family, friends and her fur babies.  She volunteered for many years for the FYFL League in Frankfort and volunteered for anything at FHS and was a major supporter of football..  She is survived by her beloved husband of 29 years Chris Mitchell, children: Shannon Clark, Justin Stanley, Marissa Mitchell, Amy Mitchell, Jeremy Stanley, Darryl Doss, her brothers; David Collins (Paula) and Terry Collins (Debra Anderson), her grandchildren: Sierra Smith, Emily Smith, Noah Stanley, Emma Grace Stanley, Brady Stanley, Cody Stanley, Isabella Stanley, and leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son: Calvan R. Mitchell, grandson: Justin David Stanley II, and grandmother: Emma Boyd, grandfather: Delzie Boyd, Walter and Georgia Collins.  Deborah was a member of New Life Worship Center.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Clark Legacy Center - Frankfort with Bro. Gene Roberts officiating.  Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens in Frankfort, Kentucky 

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 from 4-8 p.m. at the Clark Legacy Center in Frankfort, Kentucky.

Pallbearers will be Chris Mitchell, Justin Stanley, Noah Stanley, Jeremy Stanley, Weber Seay and Nathaniel Wright.

In lieu of flowers family request expressions of sympathy be made to the KY Humane Society.

Clark Legacy Center is honored to be handling all arrangements for Mrs. Deborah Lynn Mitchell.
