Sally Poulter, 95, a beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on June 16, 2024, surrounded by her family in Fort Mohave, Arizona.
Born in Holtville, California, Sally was one of 12 children born to Francisco and Teresa Munoz. At the age of 18, Sally wed the love of her life, Shiloh A. Poulter Sr. Together they had 8 children and enjoyed 63 remarkable years of marriage. Shiloh preceded her in death in 2010.
Sally was devoted to her family and the love she gave was simply unconditional. She created homes of comfort and welcomed all who entered with a heartwarming smile and a big hug. Sally was known for her talent crocheting, sewing and especially cooking. She found joy in preparing meals for family gatherings of all sizes and cherished moments spent camping, fishing and enjoying the outdoors.
She is survived by her children, Shiloh (Myra) Poulter, Stella (Harold) Oster, Ernest (Patsy) Poulter, Rex Poulter, Patrick (Janet) Poulter, Maria (Ray) Miranda; grandchildren, Kimberly Poulter, Dayna (Chris)Hancock, Adrienne (Chris) Swain, Roxanne (Bryan)Troutman, Eric Oster, Matthew (Lacy) Oster, Rose (Fernando) Lugo, Jennifer Poulter, Celia (Evan) Ulibarri, Ashley Poulter, Tamra Poulter, Patrick (Grace) Poulter, Shiloh (Taylor) Poulter, Raymond (Sara) Miranda, Linee (Bryce) Hawkes; great-grandchildren, Aydan and Ashtyn Hancock, Dylan, Chase and Landon Swain, Addalyn Daley, Gabe (Valory), Gracey, Gabby and Gavin Oster, Fernando Jr. and Gabriella Lugo, Gunner and Jasmine Ulibarri, Tessa, Kaeleb, Kennedy, Carter, Shiloh and Presley Poulter, Jazzlyn and Stevie May Oster, Alina, Kyleigh and Ramsey Miranda, Quentin Hawkes; great great-grandchildren, Bryson, Bekker and Bronze Oster; siblings, Lina (John) Romero, Weby Chavez, Henry (Margie) Munoz.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents, Francisco and Teresa Munoz; her husband, Shiloh A. Poulter Sr.; two daughters, Rose Marie Poulter and baby Sally Poulter; grandson, baby Shiloh A. Poulter IV; great-granddaughter, Brianna Poulter; and siblings, Lily, Francis, Delia, Teresa, Esperanza, Frank, Frankie, Art and Manuel.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, with a viewing at 9:00 a.m., followed by a Mass at 10:00 a.m., at Saint Ann's Catholic Church in Needles, CA.
Desert Lawn Mortuary in Mohave Valley, Arizona is assisting with the arrangements.
