Robert "Bob" Raymond Radwancky

Robert Raymond Radwancky, affectionately known as Bob, passed away at home in Irmo, SC with his loving and dedicated family by his side on June 21, 2024, at the age of 87.

 A native of Ashtabula, Ohio where he was born on April 27, 1937, Bob was renowned for his sense of humor, generosity, and kind-hearted nature. He loved to bring laughter and smiles to all. He cherished his family deeply and enjoyed socializing, which included riding his scooter around his neighborhood, making him a well-loved figure in his community. His interests included making connections across the CB radio, a lifelong passion for Corvettes and dancing, and he was a proud lifelong member of the Moose Lodge.

Bob embarked on a fulfilling career, dedicating many years as a horticulturalist at Yoder Brothers and serving as a Stationary Engineer at Iten Industries before retiring to Irmo, SC.

Bob leaves behind his beloved wife of 67 years, Melva “Darlene” Radwancky; his daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Richard Bowen; grandchildren, Chad and Megan (married to Reid); and great grandchildren, Emmalyn and Nora. He is also survived by his brother, John Radwancky; brothers-in-law, Ron (Marge) Zoblisein and Joe (Deanna) Zoblisein; sisters-in-law, Marla (Gary) Blevins, Noreen Radwancky and Sandra Zoblisein; along with many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Mick and Margaret Radwancky; brothers, Mick, Steve, and Joe Radwancky; and brother-inlaw, Bob Zoblisein. 

A private service will be held for family members to honor Bob's life and legacy. Bob's memory will be cherished by all who knew him, as he left an indelible mark on the hearts of many.
