Michael Sugar

Michael J. Sugar 4/24/1955 to 6/13/2024

Michael Sugar of Denver Colorado passed away peacefully on June 13, 2024. He is preceded in death by his father Ralph and brother Mark. He leaves behind his mother, Vicki, son’s Aaron (Michelle), Matthew (Stacey), Nicholas (Rio) and his daughter Samantha (Chase). As well as his brother’s Marty (Shelly), and Matthew, and his sister’s Judy (Chris) and Luanne. Mike had 3 granddaughters, Caligh, Grayc and Lyryk and 3 grandsons Brody, Maverick and Bronx.

Mike was the oldest child to Vicki and Ralph. Born in Denver Colorado. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and played baseball and competitive softball. He moved to the western slope and was an EMT for Glenwood Springs. The times his children would visit he would take them for jeep rides to Wendy Point and numerous hikes around Glenwood and Rifle. Mike taught all of his children and even nieces and nephews how to drive a stick shift. Mike and his family frequented Lake Powell and enjoyed water skiing and cliff diving. He loved weight lifting, biking and horseback riding. Later in life he became a semi truck driver and traveled across state lines to make deliveries.

There will be a private mass held for immediate family at Mount Carmel on August 10, 2024 @ 4pm and a Celebration of Life at a later date.
