James Hamilton

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of James (Jim) E. Hamilton, age 59, on June 18, 2024. Jim was a loving husband, a devoted son, and a cherished brother, whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of many.

Jim is survived by his beloved wife Tina, his dear mother, Vi Janzen of Elkhart, KS, and sisters Sherri (Travis) Hurn of the Villages, FL, Vienna (Galen) Lee of Elkhart, KS, and Patsy Kemp of Lawrence, KS, as well as several nieces and nephews, cousins and an aunt.

Jim was a man of considerable character. He took immense pride in his career as an expert in environmental insurance and treasured his relationships with his coworkers and clients. In addition to his love for adventure and travel, Jim was passionate about many things - especially skiing and golf - where he experienced tremendous camaraderie with friends as well as complete strangers. He found great joy in making new friends everywhere he went.

His legacy of kindness and warmth will be remembered by all who knew him. He leaves behind a wealth of memories filled with laughter, love, and joy.

An open house to celebrate Jim’s life will be held on August 10, 2024 between the hours of noon and 4:00pm at Colorado Golf Club, 8000 Preservation Trail, Parker, CO 80134. Be prepared to share your favorite stories about the happy go lucky guy we all knew and loved.
