Shirley McIntosh
June 18th, 1932 - June 17th, 2024
Shirley McIntosh beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away on June 17th, 2024 in Fort Collins Co , one day shy of her 92nd birthday. “Honey” as she was known to many was born on June 18th 1932 to John and Naomi Blackman in Carrier Mills, IL
Shirley was married to the love of her life, John William McIntosh on March 24 1952.
Together they had three children: Debra Smith (Paul Smith) Scott McIntosh (Maria Arrazola) and Mary McIntosh. She was a devoted grandmother to her two grandsons, Adam Smith(Kaleigh)and Kyrie McIntosh.
Honey spent her last days in the loving home of her grandson Adam and Kaleigh, and her four great-granddaughters: Maddisyn, Evyn, Joselyn and Lillyan.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband in 2003 and her son in 2023.
Shirley was the consummate homemaker…cook, entertainer, seamstress…gardener…(several times on the garden tour) and potter.
She will be missed by many.
