November 23rd, 1948 - July 2nd, 2024
Donna Gallup, Born November 23, 1948, passed away peacefully at Mountain Valley Hospice House in Gloversville. She was the daughter of Donald M. Gallup and Frances Pirro. She graduated from Vernon Verona Sherrill High School in 1966 and returned to the Gloversville area and was employed locally at Wood & Hyde, Coleco Industries and Breton Industries in Amsterdam, before retiring from Saratoga Springs Central School.
She is survived by her sons, Robby Sawyer, Erin McKinney and Jamie and Jessi (Palmatier) Sawyer; grandchildren Aidan Basal, Iris Sawyer, Hannah Sawyer, Hunter Sawyer and Holden Sawyer; her sister Teresa Knowles and niece and nephews. She took much enjoyment from her grandkids. She was predeceased by her father, mother, and her best friend throughout life, her sister Darlene Beaudin.
Donna also greatly enjoyed spending time with her friends the Chandlers. Her hobbies included oil painting, gardening, and feeding her birds and helping raise money for dog rescues.
