Elizabeth Sofia Motz passed away June 25, 2024, in Olympia, Washington.  She was born on January 11, 1982, to Dorothy and Larry Motz in Ashley, Michigan.  She moved to Lansing, Michigan, as a young child and eventually settled in Olympia.

Beth was a triplet. She was born smack dab in the middle of her older brother, Christopher, and younger sister, Angela. She grew up “a Triplet,” which had its perks.  There was always a bottle to steal, always someone to play with, and always someone to lean on.

Beth attended schools in Lansing and Olympia.  She graduated high school in 2003.

She was a Christian and she loved our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  She gave herself to the Lord and was baptized at City Union Gospel Church in Olympia.

Beth was a very loving, caring, and compassionate person.  She loved everyone unconditionally.  Her heart was so big that most times she put others’ needs before her own.  She enjoyed drawing and doing any kind of art.  She enjoyed being outside in nature, especially fishing.  Boy, did she have some stories!  She had a passion for any type of animal—big, little, furry, or slimy!  She enjoyed music and hanging out with her friends and family.  She was an avid collector of many different items, but her favorite collection was her Gogru collection.

Beth is survived by her children, Max and Kaleb; mother, Dorothy Walsh (Greg); father, Larry Motz (Ginger); siblings, Lori Whitney, Michelle Irby (Richard), Jessica Wallace (Jason), Phillip Motz, Christopher Motz (Jill), and Angela Motz; 14 nieces and nephews; and 12 great-nieces and great-nephews.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, William and Sophie Motz and William and Betty Davis; her aunt, Bonnie Moore; uncle, Billy Davis; uncle and aunt, Norman and Judy Davis; and aunt, Donna Motz.

Services will be held, Saturday, July 6, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at South Sound Manor, 455 North St. SE, Olympia, WA 98501.
