Bobra Davis McLemore

Bobra Davis McLemore, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend to many, passed away on July 6th, 2024 in Summerville, South Carolina. The family will receive friends Friday July 12, 2024 at 12:00pm at Simplicity 281 Treeland Dr Ladson, South Carolina. Interment to immediately follow in Plantation Memorial Gardens. 

Bobra was born November 30, 1959 in Macon, Georgia and was the daughter of the late Robert Davis and the late Mary Poland Davis. Bobra was raised in Charleston, South Carolina. She spent her career as a dedicated school bus driver, a job she cherished for the joy it brought her and the opportunity it gave her to be a part of so many children's lives. She loved to spend time with her kids and grandkids who she loved and cherished. She loved to cook, go fishing, read books and solve crossword puzzles. Her sense of humor was contagious, and she was always ready with a joke, making everyone around her laugh. Bobra was a loving individual, not only to her family but to everyone she encountered. 

She is survived by her son; Garret Collum and her daughters; Ashlee Harrell Smith-“Jody Lynn”, Amber Grimes, Brittany Collum and Selena Collum; 11 grandchildren Tyler, Faith, Amya, Jaunte, Noah, Chyna, Kyra, Broddrek, Zeena, Bentley and Kyre; her sister Karen Anita Craven; her sister and brother-in-law, Darla Kindley and Jeff Kindley (Niece Christy and nephew Brandon); two son-in-laws William Grimes and Jeffrey Harris.

She was preceded in death by her sister Cheryl Davis and her brother Karl Davis.
