Claudia Marie Carter Galloway went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 8, 2024. She was born in Scott County, Virginia and lived there most of her life. Claudia retired from Holston Valley following a career in nursing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Cora Carter.
Claudia is survived by her daughters; Denise (Bret) McCammon, Cindy Galloway, and Tina (David) Cobb; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and her sister, Doris Jessee (George Reed).
At Claudia’s request, no formal services are being held.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to a charity of one’s choosing.
Carter-Trent in Kingsport is serving the Galloway family.
