Jerry Buckle passed away on July 3, 2024 in Eugene, Oregon. Jerry was born January 5, 1952 in Cottage, Oregon to Velden and Mary Buckle.
Jerry attended Junction City High School. He worked at James River Paper Mill as an ordering clerk.
Jerry also was a volunteer fire department and EMT squad member,for 18 years, which he thoroughly enjoyed and received many rewards. He was also Mayor of Harrisburg, Oregon In 1999 for one term.
Jerry also had a very kind heart and enjoyed helping people and making them feel like they mattered. He was a people person.
Jerry is survived by Ann Buckle of Harrisburg, Or. Sister Roxy Healey from California, brothers Larry Buckle of Eugene, Oregon and Mike Buckle from Texas.
Funeral services will be at First Baptist Church in Junction City, Oregon on July 17, 2024. There is a viewing at 10:00am, service at 11:00am and burial at Alford Cemetery following service.
