Viola Adina (Rohrs) Irwin (99), passed away peacefully on July 8, 2024.
Viola was born in Napoleon Ohio to Fred and Elizabeth (Helmke) Rohrs on July 15, 1924. She lived all over the world traveling with her husband who was in the Navy. In 1972, she found her permanent home in Charlotte County Florida.
Viola enjoyed dancing and crafts, spending many hours crocheting and sewing beautiful works of art.
Viola is survived by her daughter, Carol (Ronnie) Thrasher of Punta Gorda Florida, sons, Lee (Janet) Irwin of Port Charlotte Florida, Robert (Linda) Irwin of Waterville Ohio and daughter-in-law, Lisa Irwin of Lawton Oklahoma, six grandchildren, Rhonda (Bob) Gosser, Brian Carpenter, Stacy Irwin, Jason Irwin, Jeremy (Melissa) Irwin, Kaycie (Austin) Irwin, eight great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
Viola was preceded in death by her husband, Alva Lee Irwin, Jr., son, Lawrence Irwin of Lawton Oklahoma, grandson, Kyle Irwin and sisters, Hilda Starkey, Esther Sweeney, Luella Frisinger and Arlene Navarre.
