Donna Jean Edwards

Donna Jean Edwards, 71, of Arvada Colorado passed away Sunday August 5, 2018. She was a Denver native, born to Edwin H. Bray and Beverly J. Bray on November 4, 1946. She graduated from Alameda High School in 1965. She married her honey on June 2, 1968 in Arvada where they raised their family and recently celebrated their 50th anniversary. She is survived by her husband Ernie Edwards; Son Darin Edwards his wife Paula; Daughter Keri Christensen and husband Brian; 4 granddaughters, Alysa Edwards, Taylor Norkett and husband Tyler, Madison Edwards, and Molly Christensen; great-grandson Remington Norkett; dog Lola Belle; Brothers Donald and Doug Bray and sister Bonnie Bray; and too many nieces, nephews, and cousins to count. Donna worked as a co-laborer with Ernie and Darin at the family business, Edwards Meats on 44th and Ward Road. She handled the book-keeping before computers and she had her systems that she knew frontwards and backwards. She was good with customers and the fastest meat wrapper this side of the Mississippi. She loved her family especially her granddaughters and great-grandson. She also loved reading, birds, ladybugs, flowers, Elvis, party nails, Chic-Fil A Frosted Lemonades, Starbucks, crosswords, and trivia. We will have a Celebration of Life service Thursday August 9, 2018 at 10:30 in the morning at Faith Bible Chapel Family Worship Center (West side of Ward Road-6250 Wright Street, Arvada Colorado).
