George Daniel Ross
November 13th, 1943 - July 6th, 2024
Preceded in death by his father William F. and mother Sylvia C., brother William, sister Anna, brother Richard, sister Hilma, sister Lillian, brother James, son Chris Franklin Ross, and grandson Garrett Dean. Survived by his wife Betty, brother Mike, sons George, Jr. Jerry Ivy, Darrell Ivy, and Billy Clark, grandkids Aaron, Trevor, Rebecca, Ryan, Chris, Jr. and Hanna.
Achieving the rank of Airman First Class and an Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, he served in the Strategic Air Command, and was honorably discharged from Davis Monthan Air Force Base, Tucson. He was enshrined in the Arizona Veterans Hall of Fame.
Funeral Service will be held at 9:00 AM on Monday July 15, 2024 at The ADAIR Funeral Homes, Dodge Chapel 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. Tucson, Interment to immediately follow in South Lawn Cemetery 5401 S. Park Ave. Tucson, with military honors by The Davis Monthan Base Honor Guard.
