Morris Howard Garner, age 90 of Clewiston, Florida passed away after a lengthy illness at Hendry Regional Medical Center on July 14, 2024.
Morris was born on January 24, 1934 in Cedartown, Georgia to the late William Clarence “W.C." and the late Della Morris Garner. He was married to Martha Sticher Garner. He worked as a trucker driver for all of his adult life. He was a member of the Teamsters Union working for Consolidated Trucking. He enjoyed fishing, visiting with friends and the warm Florida weather.
Morris was one of seven children. He was preceded in death by his wife Martha Stitcher Garner, his brothers and sisters; Bill Garner, Seales Garner, Charles Garner, Bonnie Warren, Sarah Swales, and Charlotte Latham.
Morris leaves fond memories with his sister-in-law; Judy Moody Camp and several nieces and nephews along with his friend Robbi Kincaid and her family.
Cremation arrangements are being entrusted to Akin-Davis Funeral Home - Clewiston.
