Jacklyn Edith Rickard Jackie was born in Torrington, Wyoming, to Dortha and Howard Keimig on a Tuesday, May 18, 1943 and completed her earthly life on Wednesday, October 31, 2018. She was named in honor of her father Howard's siblings - Jack, Alan and Edith. Jackie was born the third child after older sister Ila Rolstead (husband Al), and Evelyn Meyers (husband Richard), and followed by Jeannie (deceased June 16, 1952), Marjorie Brandeen (husband Steve), and Marlaina Dooley. Jackie graduated from Arvada high School in 1961 and completed one year of college at Colorado State College in Greeley. Jackie married Douglas Rickard September 1, 1962. They completed 56 years of marriage and 50 years of missionary service with Campus Crusade for Christ (now CRU), having been with the Jesus Film Project for the past 21 years. The Jesus Film was first produced in 1979 and the ministry was started by Crusade in 1985. The firm is the most translated in history with over 1700 languages and more than 500 million decisions for Christ from every nations, tribe, and tongue. Jackie is survived by her husband Doug, sons, Brian (wife Luming), Todd (wife Lara), and Jerrod (wife Elizabeth); grandchildren Benjamin, Timothy, Anika, and Alecia.
