Betty Maynard Ledbetter, 88, of Kernersville, NC passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 18, 2024.

 

A native of Robeson County, NC, Betty was the wife of the late Paul Cornelius Ledbetter and the daughter of Willie R. Maynard and Effie Oxendine Maynard, both deceased. 

 

Survivors include her son, Paul Anthony Ledbetter and wife, Jamie; two granddaughters, Samantha Ledbetter and husband, Freddy Carter, and Sarah Ledbetter; great granddaughter, Kaydance Carter; brother, Tracy Maynard; and sister, Callie Hopkins.

 

In addition to her husband and parents, Betty was preceded in death by her son, Patrick Ledbetter; five brothers, Bracy Maynard, E. C. Maynard, Max Maynard, Eugene Maynard, and twin brother, Bob Maynard; and two sisters, Etta Mae Maynard Lowry, and Eunice Maynard Wallace.

 

A memorial service celebrating Betty’s life will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, July 27, 2024, at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Services Kernersville Chapel.
