Fumi was born to Hisao and Yanagido Niikawa on January 27, 1939, in the Tokyo Prefecture of Japan then called to eternal life July 1, 2024.  

Fumi loved her flamboyant, fun, energetic lifestyle.  Full of designer clothing, beautiful jewelry and handbags.  She loved to travel with family and friends and was always ready to go.  She loved to sew, when something needed to be altered or sewn, she happily did it while watching her Japanese channel. 

She left Japan as a young adult, traveled the world then lived on the beautiful island of Guam until moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2002. Wherever she went she made many friends and was always giving.  She loved in her own special way.  

She is predeceased family and husband, Francisco Pablo Mesa 

She will always be remembered and cherished in the hearts of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren:

Last respects for Fumi will be held on Monday, August 19, 2024, at the Southern Nevada Veteran's Memorial Cemetary from 10:00 am- 10:30 am and burial will immediately follow.
