Joan Alice (Moore) Harrington passed away Wednesday, June 5,2024 in Jackson, California. She was born on August 20, 1937, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada to William Berczy Moore and Ethel May (Shortreed) Moore. Joan and her parents moved to Bellingham, Washington in 1947. On January 20, 1956, she married the love of her
life John Fredrick Harrington. They had two children. She and her husband resided in Volcano, California for several years. She is survived by several relatives in Canada. She and her husband also have two lifelong supportive and loving friends, Ernest Burgess of Sutter Creek, California and James Burgess Jr. of Jackson, California.
Joan and John will enter their final resting place, with their son Thomas M. Harrington, in the Hamilton
Cemetery in Washington State. There will be a private graveside service.
