Lupe Alday
September 24th, 1948 - July 16th, 2024
Lupe Alday was born Lupe Alderete on September 24, 1948, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to parents Reynalda and Benjamin Alderete. She married the love of her life, Martin Alday, and lived life to the fullest. She had no children but was a motherly figure to her many nieces and nephews. You could always count on Auntie Lupe in your time of need. She lived a humble life taking care of those around her, including her late husband, Martin Alday. When Martin passed, Auntie Lupe's health declined, and her niece Rita Lopez and partner Jacob Romero cared for Lupe in her time of need. Lupe passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was known to be the life of the party. She is preceded in death by her husband, Martin Alday, brothers David Alderete Ernest Alderete and Manuel Alderete , sister Helen Lopez, nieces Anna Rios, Irene Molina, and nephew James Alderete. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will miss their Auntie Lupe. Services are to be announced at a later date.
