Camilla Jean Taylor departed her loving family on July 21, 2024. She spent her last couple of days surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, at the home of her son, Jon Taylor, where she lived during the last few months.

Camilla was born in Pontiac, Michigan on December 8, 1942, to Mildred and Marvin Scott (deceased).

Mother to Shari (Dale) Wibert, Jon Taylor (her favorite son), and Lindsay (Casey) Tauberschmidt. She was Grandma to Angela (Tim) Larson, Emma Robertson, Aleisha (Ryan Ramey) Taylor, Evan (Kerri) Robertson, Ashley (Blake) Colley, Zeke, Zane and Rezy Tauberschmidt and great-grandma to Charley and Graham Larson, Addilyn, Wyatt and Brynlee Ramey, Savannah and Cole Robertson, and Morgan, Taylor and Paisley Colley.

There are so many great things that can be said about Camilla, that there is no way we can list them all, so here are just a few. She loved her family, hummingbirds, snow globes, fishing and Christmas was her favorite time of year. She would start her Christmas shopping in June and still be shopping right up to December.

She loved fishing with her son-in-law, Dale and was so happy to be able to go fishing within the last few weeks with her grandson, Zeke. She was a competitive, strong, stubborn, and loving person.

There are no words to describe how much she will be missed, however, we are finding peace in knowing she is in heaven with our Father, rejoicing in her new body, free of aches and pains and will continue to watch over us from above. One of her final comments was "We will all be okay"!!

The family is having a small, informal gathering at the home of her oldest daughter, Shari Wibert on July 24, 2024 at 5:30 pm.
