Sharon J. Sheppard, 68, passed away on July 18, 2024 in her home.
Born in Aiken, SC, she loved the Lord Jesus, her family, and friends. She was a daughter of the late James and Shirley Widener. Preceded in death by her birth father, Hudson Ryals, her brother, Manning Widener, and her sisters, Dorothy Widener, and Linda Pleasant.
She is survived by her twin sister, Karen (Mel) Schultz of Aiken, SC, her children; Toni (Robby) Kissiah of Aiken, SC; Larry (Adrianna) Sheppard of Aiken, SC; and Joni (David) Warren of Aiken, SC, as well as eight grandchildren, five nieces and one nephew.
Sharon worshipped our Lord Jesus at North Augusta Bible Chapel during the last few years of her life. She was a sweet and kind person who would share anything she had with others.
A memorial service is scheduled for August 3, 2024 at 2:00 pm at North Augusta Bible Chapel, 1050 Hammond Drive, North Augusta, SC. Visitation will be from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm with the service following at 2:00 pm.
In remembrance of Sharon’s life, the family has asked that donations be made to Mental Health America, P.O. Box 1074, Aiken, SC 29802. The website is www. mha-aiken.org.
