Pauline Mary LaLiberty
May 7th, 1959 - July 18th, 2024
Pauline Mary LaLiberty, 65, of Gloversville, New York, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2024, surrounded by her family. Pauline was born in Gloversville on May 7, 1959 to the late Paul Sr. and Ila Mae (Bush) Zuckerwar.
Pauline worked for many years as a special education teacher at the Pinellas Park Elementary School in Pinellas Park, Florida. Throughout her life, Pauline loved children and helping them learn and grow. She held a special place in her heart for any child with special needs, even outside of her own classroom.
Pauline will be remembered for her selfless and caring heart, and her willingness to lend a hand to anyone who needed help. Her world revolved around her family, and her grandchildren were the apples of her eye. She also loved animals, especially her dogs. Pauline made a point to make monetary donations, as well as donate food and toys to her local animal shelter any chance she had.
In her free time, Pauline enjoyed several hobbies, including gardening, sewing, and making jewelry. She also greatly enjoyed taking vacations with her cousin Fran, who she was incredibly close with. Pauline leaves behind her loving family, including her son Richard Bradley (Elizabeth) Frye II; her daughter, Amanda Marie (Josh) Frye; her grandchildren, Kaylee Nicole Guy, Abel Ryan Frye, and Steven Alexander Gable; her cousin, Frances Bradshaw; her siblings, Julius (Emily) Zuckerwar, Sherry (Mike) Veeder, Kevin James Zuckerwar, Kenny Allen Zuckerwar, and Paul Zuckerwar Jr.; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Aside from her parents, Paul Sr. and Ila, Pauline is also preceded in passing by her siblings, Paul Douglas Zuckerwar and Julia Rossi.
In keeping with Pauline's wishes, there will be no funeral services. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville, NY. Memorial contributions may be made in Pauline's memory to Mountain Valley Hospice, 108 Steele Avenue, Gloversville, NY 12078.
