In Loving Memory
Guadalupe M. Perez of Salinas passed on peacefully to the Kingdom of Heaven surrounded by her children and loved ones on July 22, 2024. She was 73 years old. Guadalupe was born in Chavinda Michoacan on January 12, 1951. She came to Salinas, California in the early 70’s where she worked as a laborer for over 30 years. Guadalupe was a kind, gentle, and caring person with a very strong work ethic. She loved being surrounded by family and cooking big meals for her children. She was the head of the family and took pride in caring for them all. She loved playing Bingo every day. There she had a very special group of friends she called family. Guadalupe is survived by her Children Marisela Perez Mendoza (Victor), Jesus Perez (Mary) of Manteca, Ca., Paco Perez (Darlene) of Lincoln, Ca., Javier Perez of Salinas, Armando Perez (Julie) of Salinas, 6 Great-Grandchildren, and 15 Grandchildren. Guadalupe was preceded in death by her husband Jesus (el Abujillo) Perez Perez. Father, Francisco (Kiko) Maravilla Rivas and Mother, Angelina (Gelo) Maravilla.
Viewing will take place at Healey Mortuary Chapel on Wednesday, July 31st from 1 pm to 8 pm with the Rosary at 6 pm. Mass will take place on Thursday, August 1st at 10 am at Saint Mary’s of the Nativity followed by the burial at Garden of Memories

Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
