Jane Frances Chando, (Nee Graeber) of West Deptford, NJ passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 25, 2024 with her beloved family by her side. She was 4 weeks shy of turning 90.
LEGACY
Born in Ashland, Pennsylvania; Jane moved to Grenloch NJ with her family at the age of 11 and graduated from Glassboro High School. She met and married John Chando and settled in West Deptford where she would remain for the balance of her life.
Jane and John shared more than 44 years of marriage and raised two sons that complimented their love story. They owned and operated John's Mobil in Woodbury for more than 40 years until he passed in 1999 and her son Carl took over the business.
Jane will be remembered as a loving, kind, warm hearted woman who loved her siblings, children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews unconditionally. She enjoyed hosting all of the holiday gatherings, such as family pool parties and barbecues which were memorable events for everyone who attended.
Jane will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
FAMILY
Jane is the beloved wife of the late John Chando; cherished mother of Carl and his girlfriend Sharon McCool, Mark Chando and his husband Mark Bruton, loving grandmother of CJ and Ashlee Chando; dear sister of Claire Armstrong, Charles Graeber and John Graeber. Jane is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
FAREWELL CEREMONY
Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Friday, August 2, 2024 at the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME< 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury NJ beginning 9 AM where her Funeral Ceremony will follow at 11 AM. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, Jane's family requests memorial contributions made to the Alzheimer's Association of the Delaware Valley by visiting www.alz.org/delval
