Brian Kevin Gallagher

Brian Gallagher, a beloved husband, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on July 22, 2024, leaving a profound void in the hearts of those who knew him. Born on October 18, 1967, in Portland, Oregon, to Danny and Carol Gallagher, Brian was the fourth of five sons. He was preceded in death by his eldest brother, William Gallagher, and is survived by his brothers Danny, Brent, and Shawn Gallagher.

From a young age, Brian was known for his infectious smile and unwavering optimism. His laughter and warmth made him a cherished presence in every gathering. Brian’s life was characterized by hard work and an enduring positivity that touched everyone around him. He found his soulmate in Tovah Ann Wilson, and they married on September 4, 1999. Their union was a beautiful testament to love, and together they created a home in Milwaukie, Oregon, that became a beacon for family gatherings, particularly during the Christmas season.

Brian’s home was a haven of joy and togetherness, where his exceptional talent for making others laugh shone brightly. He was a master of jokes, filling every room with laughter and happiness. Although Brian and Tovah did not have children of their own, Brian embraced his role as an uncle with boundless affection, treating his nieces and nephews as if they were his own.

Brian’s dedication to his family extended beyond his immediate circle. He made it a point to reach out to every family member, ensuring they knew they were loved and remembered. His love for gardening was matched only by his devotion to Tovah, whom he cared for with remarkable tenderness. Known as the BBQ master, Brian had a unique gift for bringing people together through good food and heartfelt conversation.

Brian’s legacy will live on in the countless lives he touched with his kindness, humor, and love. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His spirit will forever be a part of the joyful memories and cherished moments he created with those he loved.
