Sidney "Dick" Richard Albert
April 5th, 1935 - July 30th, 2024
Sidney Richard (Dick) Albert 89 years old, of Tucson Arizona passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on July 30, 2024 at 7:00 PM. Dick was born in Phoenix Arizona on April 5th, 1935, to David W. Albert and Margaret Albert.
Dick had three siblings, Margaret Helen Bennett (Peggy) of Tucson Arizona, Lester Albert of Sun Lakes Arizona, and Donald Albert.
Dick married Lucille Parent on March 31st, 1967. They had three children, Tina Bradley of Chandler AZ, Tammy Mainhall of Florence AZ and Cindy Reinhardt of Lakewood CO.
Dick received his AA in Agriculture from the UOA and the State of WA then worked 33 years for the US Forest Service. Dick spent most of his life in AZ between Douglas, Tucson and Phoenix, and spent 15 years in Albuquerque NM. He also traveled while working with the Forest Service.
Dick had many hobbies he enjoyed like, SW jewelry, wood working, miniatures, leather works, stamp and coin collections, made ammo, he enjoyed fishing and camping. He also enjoyed horse riding and had no fear of snakes.
Dick enjoyed helping others and volunteered with the Boy Scouts, church, community organizations, he was very involved with NARF National Association of Retired Federal Employees. He was once president of a credit union and was treasurer of the HOA where he lived.
Dick had made many friends over the years who would describe him as a loyal man with a sense of humor.
In his childhood, Dick attended cowboy boarding school and later retuned on staff. The Little Outfit, is located in Patagonia AZ. He later retuned to assist in the restoration of the old one room schoolhouse to prepare it for the Historical Society.
Dick is survived by his wife of 57 years, three daughters, 4 grandsons, 4 granddaughters, and 8 great-grandchildren. Two sons in law, and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Dick was predeceased by his parents, his siblings, a grandson and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
