Beverly Clara Berg

Beverly Clara Berg, age 83, of Denver Colorado passed away peacefully on December 24, 2020 after a long bout with Alzheimer†™s. Beverly was born on August 4th, 1937 in Stockville, Nebraska. She is survived by her husband Harvey. They were married for 61 years and had three children Steven, Julie and Michael. Mom moved to Denver at the age of 21 to pursue nursing and worked in the emergency room, which came in handy as she handled the many bumps and bruises, we had growing up. She met dad at church, fell in love and married in 1959. Mom†™s heart was centered on faith and family. She was very devoted to the Lord and as a couple mom and dad were always active and helping others in the community. She was a loving mother, best friend to all, and brought peace and balance to our household. Her fresh baked cookies, jellies and pies always brought warmth to our home. She absolutely loved cooking and frequently hosted Sunday after church lunches for Colorado School of Mines students who packed the house. One of her favorite past times was learning about the history of our family. Mom also loved to bowl, and she was darn good at it! For the past several years mom and dad were part of a senior Wii video Bowling league. The league was a pathway to great friendships. Mom was a kind and giving soul and she will be missed by all. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Beverly Clara Berg to the Alzheimer†™s Association or First Baptist of Golden.
