Sonia Gomez, 59, of Colorado Springs, CO, passed away on August 1, 2024 in Colorado Springs, CO.
She was born on March 5, 1965 to Jesús Peralta and Olivia Meléndez in Camargo Chihuahua, Mexico.
Sonia deeply loved her husband, kids, grandson, family, and friends. She was strong, caring, giving, protective over her loved ones, and a free spirit who loved dancing, music, and spending time with her loved ones.
Sonia is preceded in death by her son Ernesto “Neto” Villagrán, her parents Jesús Peralta and Olivia Meléndez, and her sister Celina E. Peralta.
Sonia is survived by her husband Julian Gomez Santos (Tabasco, Mexico), her daughter Edith “Tutys” Garcia, her grandson Ernesto “Jr.” Villagrán Jr., and her siblings Aracely Peralta, Marinela Peralta, Oliva Peralta, Alma Peralta, and Jesús Aarón Peralta.
From her siblings, they share, “God bless her and give all the love from her sisters and brother. And we always going to remember the good things with her. Rest in peace.”
A viewing will be held from 12:30pm-1:30pm and services will be held from 1:30pm-:3:00pm on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Springs Funeral Services located at 3115 East Platte Avenue Colorado Springs, CO 80909 (719) 207-8855.
