Pauline J. Ferguson, 69 passed away peacefully in her sleep May 31, 2019 at St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, Colorado. Polly, as she was known, was born October 15, 1949 to Ronald G. Pardee and Phyllis J. Roberts in Detroit, Michigan. She would then be the big sister to Steve, Pam, Joe and Jimmy. Her family moved to Denver, Colorado in the late 50's, where she would later be part of the inaugural class that opened Thomas Jefferson High School. In 1968, Polly met Daniel C. Ferguson in Waterford, Michigan and they were married on July 13th. They adopted their son Ronald G. Ferguson from El Salvador in 1975. The couple would later adopt two more children from Korea, daughters Kerensa M. Nelson (nee Ferguson) and Danielle C. Ferguson. Polly was an accomplished seamstress and crafter. She spent nearly 30 years as a self-employed vendor in local craft shows in both Michigan and Colorado. Polly loved spending her free time with her family and her pet dog, Cocoa. Her legacy of love and creativity will be carried on by her children and her granddaughters, Destiny and Josephine.
